The HRMS team at the company headquarters in Santa Ana, CA is leading the effort to bring a more robust and relevant business information mindset to the organization and has recently garnered the support and the attention of our senior leadership team by partnering with internal departments (IT, Finance, etc.) to build trustworthy and relevant metrics that are currently provided on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
The successful Director of HRMS will be:
• Responsible for the overall management of the company’s HRMS and related solutions while also providing people leadership over various HR technical projects, reporting, audits and daily HRMS and compliance operations.
• Responsible for the design, development, implementation, deployment and management of a multiple-systems environment including but not limited to: HRMS, Time, Labor and Attendance, Learning Management System, Applicant Tracking Solution, Compensation Planning, Performance and Talent Management, and other ASP’s as required.
• Responsible for deploying technology solutions that drive operational excellence and create business intelligence reporting into the business.
• Responsible for other essential functions such as: Systems administration and support; reporting and analytics; vendor relations management; technology and process improvement; as well as management of direct reports.
• The primary HR technical architect of a progressive HRMS Strategic Roadmap aligned with business goals to support the integration of all worldwide employee data. Job Qualifications • 10 plus years of progressive HR technology management experience, including project management and lead technical roles required.
• 2-4 years of experience at a Director level with demonstrated understanding of team management, change control, risk management, project planning, budgeting and scheduling, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects is required.
• Management of HRMS selection and implementation project within an organization of over 10,000 employees is preferred.
• Oracle or Ultimate HRMS experience a plus; PHRI or PMP certification desirable.
• Practical knowledge of Human Resources best practice business processes and technology with demonstrated competency in application testing, application configuration, application deployment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate regularly with business leaders in various aspects of the business from operations, HR, finance, and IT to re-architect business processes to leverage technology to drive operational efficiencies and provide enhanced business reporting on the organization’s human capital.
• Strong people leadership skills in directing and managing technical and customer service roles; Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation) to influence senior executives and key stakeholders at varying levels in the organization, as well as internal and external partners.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain business user relationships, develop and maintain an understanding and up-to-date awareness of business functionality, business systems, industry requirements and best-in-class technology solutions.
• Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS in Business, Computer Science); MBA preferred.
