Typically supervises a group with responsibility for tactical and project outcomes. Work group is generally engaged in a wide variety of often complex tasks. Enforce department standards and introduce efficiency plans and workflow improvements. Motivate and encourage staff to meet department goals and ensure guidelines are being followed.
? Train and educate employees on operational projects and desired work results.
? Ensure a consistent and accurate product is being completed by employees.
? Establish effective procedures for department processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines.
? Provide directions to employees according to established policies and management guidance. Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees.
? Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to subordinate group. Supervisors at this level have impact on budgeting, controlling costs, planning, scheduling, and procedural change.
Job Qualifications 3-5 years demonstrated supervisory skills. Demonstrated successful track record of participation, design, development, and completion of projects in an area of expertise. Demonstrated success of establishing, and maintaining effective working relationships.
Must have direct reporting relationship and full supervisory responsibility for 2 or more full time (or FT equivalent) employees. This is the highest level of supervisor. Provides direct supervision to exempt employees and/or skilled, nonexempt employees.
