First American Home Buyers Protection offers home owners a home warranty plan that covers the cost of the repair or replacement of specific mechanical defects in the home. We have an immediate need for an entry level Claim Resolution Representative in our Claims center.
• Answer incoming level one calls from customers regarding new claims and existing claims.
• Document all calls in FALCON under a 3 step process
• Process claims for homeowners and assist with warranty coverage inquiries
• Create work items from Claim and/or work orders
• Cancel or re-open claims or work orders
• Provide homeowners with all relevant information pertaining to the contract, claim or work order
• Handle various dispatch activities .
• Resolve homeowner and contractor scheduling conflicts.
Shift available is:
11pm – 8am
Job Qualifications • 0-2 year’s Customer Service experience in a call center environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Good listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Type at least 35 wpm
• Proven customer service skills
• Good organizational skills with the ability to multi task, prioritize and follow up
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
