Responsible for the production of a team of employees in the completion of Accounts Receivable functions and processes. Position requires daily interaction with Accounts Receivable Staff and Operations Management to bring timely resolution to issues.
• Lead a team of employees in the completion of the Accounts Receivable functions which includes planning and executing the following processes: o Complete matching process of receivables documents to payments – automated as well as manual matching • Communicate, educate, train and follow-up on the implementation of system-wide Company initiatives. • Ensure systems and processes are in place in order to effectively train and develop new and existing team members • On a daily basis, respond to questions and interact with customers and various levels of management to provide response/resolution in a timely and thorough manner to all internal and external customers. • Ensure that team meets productivity standards by reviewing productivity reporting, training team members, developing, and implementing initiatives to improve overall team productivity. • Maintain all files in a neat, organized manner following Company file retention guidelines • Perform other duties as needed to ensure efficient & effective performance. • People management, including: staffing & selection, integration of new staff to teams, facilitating technical/functional training or leveraging other training resources, measuring individual and team performance and providing feedback, counseling and coaching as needed, confronting employee issues, managing corrective action process (with HR consult), terminating employees (with HR consult) • Train, coach and hold staff accountable for achieving established and new performance standards. • Direct experience problem solving using conflict resolution techniques Job Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Position requires limited overtime hours. Additional job qualifications include: • Bachelors in Accounting/Finance or equivilent experience strongly preferred • Minimum 2 years experience as an Account Receivables Manager in a high-production, multi-unit environment. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including telephone etiquette • Excellent organizational skills • Ability to multi-task • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form • MS Office including extensive experience in Excel 2007 required % of Travel Required NOTICE: Individual is responsible to adhere to First American Corporation’s and department’s compliance and information security policies, practices, and procedures, including the handling of systems and data, in the performance of the role.
