Position Duties & Responsibilities
The Software QA Analyst will carry out procedures to ensure that all products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements. Evaluate and test new or modified software programs to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
Responsibilities will include: development and execution of test scripts for new and or modified software applications, assist help desk as required though call escalation process, perform routine duties or solve recurring problems with respect to software testing, defect reporting and verification of resolved problems.
The successful candidate will work with some (though not all) of the following technologies depending on the specific projects:
• Microsoft Office
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Microsoft XP
• Microsoft Vista
• HTML, XML
• Seapine Test Track
Job Qualifications The successful candidate will meet or exceed the following requirements:
• Experience with Microsoft technologies.
• 1 to 2 years experience with software testing concepts.
• Candidate must be a self-starter, assertive, and enthusiastic.
• Candidate should have excellent communication skills and should proactively update supervisor on project status.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
